Who we are
About Prediction Market Compare
Prediction markets have quietly become one of the most interesting corners of finance: real-money exchanges whose prices double as probability forecasts for elections, economic data, and world events. But the ecosystem is fragmented. The same event trades on multiple venues with different prices, different fees, and different rules — and no neutral place existed to line them up side by side.
Prediction Market Compare is that place. We are an independent comparison and discovery site for prediction markets. We explain how the major platforms work, compare their fees, regulation, liquidity and coverage, and — as the product develops — will match equivalent markets across venues and surface meaningful price differences.
What we do
- Publish structured, factual profiles of prediction-market platforms, starting with Kalshi and Polymarket.
- Maintain side-by-side comparisons of fees, regulation, funding and liquidity.
- Write plain-English guides to how these markets actually work.
- Document our approach openly in a public methodology.
What we don't do
- We do not offer investment, legal or tax advice, and we do not make trade recommendations.
- We do not execute trades or handle customer funds.
- We do not accept payment from platforms for favorable coverage. Rankings and ratings are editorial and follow our methodology.
Where the product is going
This first version is content-first: platform profiles, comparisons and guides, with clearly labeled demonstration data illustrating the comparison experience. The roadmap, in order: live market data from platform APIs, automated matching of equivalent events across venues, and cross-platform price-difference alerts. If that product sounds useful, the newsletter form on the homepage is the best way to hear when it ships.
Independence and funding
The site is currently self-funded and carries no advertising. If we ever introduce affiliate links or sponsorships, they will be labeled clearly and will not influence editorial ratings — see the disclaimer for the standing policy.
